Hi ,

 

i am facing problem with the face recognition camer ,

 

during log on it is not starting and also if i want to get new face in the user account i cannot,

 

it seems it is not turning on.

 

before i face this problem but i was forced to make system recovery to get it working again , but this time i have alot of data and i dont also have time to make system recovery.

 

is there any solution , 

anyone ca help or face this problem before.

I recommend you to uninstall the webcam driver from device manager and reinstall it.

 

Check if that helps.

i already try whay you suggested , but i didnt make system restore since there is information on my PC that i need.

 

do u have any other solution rather than the restore or system recovery.

now it is ok

 

i uninstall the driver and download it again from inter website and set it up again , and everything after that goes ok.

Hi there,

 

 I have same issue. Model is HP envy 15 ar052sa.

 

I tried to download suggested driver update at the top of thread but it said camera not found and terminated. 

 

Please can you help?

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP ENVY x360 - 15-ar052sa  wherein you get a message that the camera is not found after installing the Face Recognition software.

 

This issue could occur because of the group policy setting in Windows 10.

 

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
