Is g5 dock compatible with HP Laptop 17-cn2xxx?  I receive a notification that "display connection might be limited"  Laptop does not charge and dual monitors don't connect/display.  The dock works with the other 2 laptops we own (different models)

Hi @ogyg8igyg

The issue with this laptop model series is that it does not have a USB-C port compatible with DisplayPort so it cannot be used for external displays, it can only be used for data.

Thank you.  i will return the laptop and get a different model.  What tech spec should i look for to ensure compatibility?

You're welcome, happy to help.

You must request from the vendor that the USB-C port is DisplayPort compatible.
