HP Gaming Pavilion 15-cx0510nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

About 2 months ago i bought my HP Gaming Pavilion 15-cx0510nd. When i wanted to plug in a hdmi kabel for my second monitor i got a spark coming from the hdmi port. After that i touched the hdmi port 5 times with the hdmi kabel and the sparks kept coming.

Anyone knows what to do against it?

Or does anyone know if it's bad for the computer and i need to get it fixed?

Thanks in advance,

Laurens

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Hello Kevin,

Sorry for my late response. I made a big mistake when i didn't check if it was the HDMI cable that gave the sparks. I tested the HDMI cable on other devices and it gave an spark to, so the problem is not the computer but the HDMI cable.

Sorry for taking your time!
