I bought this computer in 2017, the year warranty has (clearly) run out, but I'd like to fix it. My problem is NOT the hinges, those are fine, but the bottom case where the motherboard/keyboard is held is cracking open from the force of the laptop opening to tablet mode. It has become such an issue that the crack pinches my leg and has caused some of my keys not to work. I do not mind fixing it, as long as repairs are under the cost of a new computer, it's worth it to me. I know i'm out of warranty but I'm willing to pay - if I could just get in contact with ANYONE from HP. not a Virtual assistant, actual customer support.

@zwash I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.
Please look for a private message requesting additional information.
Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
