HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bq1xx maximum ram upgrade 16gb?

I have seen where a HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15t is upgradeable to 16gb. Just wondering if the 15 m-bq1xx is also upgradeable before I buy and take apart my computer... In HP Help Assistant, specs show 2 4gb sticks installed.

I did find this in the manuals section, I have the AMD Ryzen 5 video card, so I am assuming I should be good to upgrade with 2 8gb sticks?

Yes your laptop can run 2 x 8 = 16 gigs memory.

I upgraded my 15z-bq100 CTO with two Hynix  8 GB RAM DDR4-2400 modules, hence total memory installed is 16GB.

And that woudl be DDR4 PC4-17000 2133MHz Non-ECC SODIMM??? Correct???

For my 15z BQ-100-CTO with Ryzen 5 2500U, it's DDR4 2400MHz version. 

My 15z BQ-100-CTO comes with factory installed two Hynix 4 GB DDR4 2666 MHz, but it's barebone UEFI has configured it to DDR4 2400 Mhz speeds. I later upgraded factory installed memory modules into  two Hynix 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz modules. Some games and my VMware related work needs more than 8GB installed memory.

My laptop has the same mobile Ryzen 5 APU as your laptop.

For me, it's easy to install since it's not my first time.

That is not correct, it may run 2x16GB of RAM
