ENVY 13-ah0003na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've just bought a HP Envy 13 ah-0003na and I'm wondering whether or not it will support usb-c charging.

Reading the "HP Customer Support Knowledge Base" page for it, its USB-C port appears to support Power Delivery, which I understand to be a bi-directional specification. However, I have read elsewhere on the HP Forum that power delivery may or may not mean charging is available through usb-c on some HP laptops.

The support page listing the specs for the laptop can be accessed here:

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06067279

The forum post can be found here:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Charging-ENVY-13-x360-through-...

I'd like to be able to power it off of a suitable power delivery power bank or adapter when travelling, so I only have to take 1 charger for my phone and laptop but obviously I don't want to invest in unnecesary hardware if incompatible.

EDIT: I have just bought this charger from amazon, and it works, no problem at all: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KQR9YPQ/?coliid=I27WANGDBV949D&colid=1YH5LPVCPPIVG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_l...

Its specs

which shows it has  1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) that means it does support USB-C charging.

Yes, you can use a COMPATIBLE power bank. Sorry at this stage, I can't find any compatible power bank for Envy machines, only for SOME business class series of machines.

Regards.
