HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy laptop is less than two years old and recently, moving the screen from tablet mode the left hinge broke. The damage from the hinge spread to the screen. I took the laptop into best buy where they quoted me a price for fixing the hinge and the screen. For the price of fixing it I could just buy a whole new laptop. I invested my money in this laptop because I trusted HP and their laptops, but now looking into it I see that numerous people have had the same issue with the faulty hinge. My laptop being over a year old is out of warranty, but seeing the same issue pop up again and again for this particular laptop, I can't help but think that HP is in some way responsible for selling a falulty product. Can HP repair my laptop or help in anyway? At the very least I sincerely suggest you consider recalling this model of the HP Envy and revise the construction of the hinges. I did not mistreat my laptop and having spent so much on it, being in this situation is devastating. I hope for the sake of HP and its customers, they consider this issue.
