Hello, how much maximum RAM can be inserted? Will the motherboard support ddr5?
32GB (2x16GB)
Memory Profile: 6400MT/s 38-40-40 1.35V
Part Number: KF564S38IBK2-32Spec

Or 64?

 

  • Total Capacity: 64GB (2x32GB)
  • Memory Profile: 5600MT/s 40-40-40 1.1V
  • Part Number: KF556S40IBK2-64

Hi:

 

DDR5 memory will not work in a notebook that came with DDR4 memory.

 

DDR5 memory runs at a lower voltage, has a different number of contact pins and the slot in the memory circuit board is cut in a different place than it is in a DDR4 memory chip thus making it impossible for DDR5 memory to even fit in a DDR4 memory slot.

 

Chapter 1 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's user guides page indicates that the notebook can support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory.
