Not according to the Service manual:

Two customer-accessible/upgradeable memory module slots supporting up to 8 GB of RAM

Manual

4-GB (PC3-12800, 1600-MHz, DDR3) 641369-001

See p. 64 of the Manual

Video is a sister model also covered in the Manual. Note the guy who made the video says his had problems with 16 gigs.

okay thanx!

but i have 8 gb ram 1333 MHz kingston ddr3...

no problem?

HP Recommended

Problem....no single module bigger than 4 gigs.

HP Recommended

what problem? i don`t understand

HP Recommended

A single 8 gig module will not work. The total maximum is 8 gigs which is 2 x 4 gigs. You can't put an 8 gig module in it. Unless you mean you have a pair of 4 gig modules, the memory you have will not work.

)))

i all work!

all they okay

don`t worry

Sorry, but just talking that does not work is not worth ... what's the reason for not working?

Example ... would not this memory work?

Compatible chipset, CPU compatible ... why would not it work?

HP sets the hardware parameters in the design of the motherboard. 8 gigs is all she will take. 4 gig max per module. Hey you know better. Buy that memory and stick it in there. Good luck.

In the new memories come tomorrow. I will install and post the result here.
Thank you.
