HP Spectre X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi , I have a 13inch. HP Spectre x360  - Model 13t-ae000  . My laptop keyboard has been acting strange - For certain keys , it is registering multiple characters on a single keypress. For example if I press the 'T' key, it is registering as 'gt45' . It is doing this for at least 4 character keys, and few numeric keys, as well as the backspace key.

I have tried uninstalling the Keyboard driver and rebooting a few times, and that has not helped. I have verified via keyboard diagnostics at startup , that it is indeed registering multiple keys like I explained above. I have plugged in an external USB keyboard, and that works just fine.

My laptop is already out of warranty. Are there any other troubleshooting tricks that exist that might work ? Or is replacing the keyboard the only option ?

TIA

You can see whether the operation according to his steps is effective, if there is still no way, you can buy a keyboard replacement.
