HP Spectre x360 - Metallic noise when charging
01-25-2017 10:41 AM
I felt exactly the same, that I wouldn't find another notebook as nice. Dell have a 15 day 'no.questions come and collect' return policy so I ordered an xps 13 2-in-1.
Similar screen size to HP but nearly twice the resolution, fingerprint reader and 500Gb SSD.
Also MicroSD and a USB Type-C on both sides, either will charge.
Not perfect (camera is below screen and not ir for Windows hello) but it is smaller, lighter and support so far has been way better than HP. I had them side-by-side for last week and I really like the Dell. Enough to send both Spectres back without blinking

Oh, and is also Kaby Lake i7 with no fan (different lower voltage CPU than Spectre)
Super quiet and no coil whine.
