Hi, Paul_Tikkanen,
so both 2TB SSDs were defective. They were cheap junk.
I bought new ones, and Win 10 works fine on the 2TB drive.
I want to try 4TB too.
My computer is currently running with the Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor X9000, but at first glance it doesn't seem to offer any advantages over the T8100.
Probably a useless investment. The operating system sometimes takes a long time to start and then the computer is slow or sometimes it doesn't start even after a long time and I have to reset it. But otherwise the laptop works quite well.

You're very welcome.
Only the processors listed in the manual will work.
The RM72 was not even supported for the newer dv6500 model series as you can see in chapter 1 of the service manual:
I don't know if the TL-66 will work in your notebook.
It might since it shows the TL-60 works in the dv6500 too.
You can find the final BIOS update HP released for your notebook at the link below (F.43).
DO NOT UPDATE THE BIOS UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING XP OR VISTA ON YOUR NOTEBOOK
A 100% BIOS update failure rate if you try and update the BIOS running W7 or newer on the dv6000s that have the AMD processors.

Hi, I have another question.
Is there any possibility to upgrade the processor on a laptop with these HW parameters? Is it possible to use a dual-core processor, more than 2 GHz?

Now the screen screen should be successfully uploaded.
The notebook has a different chassis, the label is not corresponding to the HW configuration. So, according to the label, nothing can be ascertained, I have probably already fired the original chassis.
I do not have HDD in the notebook, I do not have a version of 32 bit Win 10 anywhere, so I can not install HW info yet.

You have a HP Pavilion dv6240eu Notebook PC.
Below is the link to the service manual you use for the above model:
The best processor you can install in that notebook would be the AMD Turion ML-60.

Chapter 1 of the service manual I posted for you indicates that the AMD Turion ML-60 is a 2.0 GHz processor.
However, I believe that the ML-60 description is incorrect.
If you look at chapter 3 of the manual, the part number for that processor is 436257-001.
Doing a search of that part number, provides this information:
So, it is really a 2.0GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 Dual Core Mobile CPU Processor

Hello, thank you.
That could be great. Could this processor behave similarly to the T8100 in my previous model? (it's almost the same frequency).
Bus speed - 800 MHz, so that means I'll have to update the bios version (currently F.42)
I found this processor - affordable, would it be possible to use it too?
But I have to see what socket it has when I take the laptop apart. This might be different.
Or is there something better processor - Something like the X9000?

Yes, thank you for reply.
But is it even necessary to update the Bios for the TL-60?
I thought that the bios versions would be the same as the dv6700.
So I can use win XP too.
I'd rather get advice than leaf through those manuals.
Is it even worth replacing the processor? Will the laptop then behave similarly to the dv6700 with the Intel TL8100.
Unfortunately, I bought those laptops in a hurry, without considering what processors they have. I mainly assembled one of the best-looking parts from two laptops here and now I'm going back to it to take it apart.
