@JEZABELL79, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP Envy x360 Convertible suddenly won’t power on, especially when it was working fine just last night. Let’s go through some steps to help you get it up and running again.
Perform a Hard Reset
Since your device has an internal battery, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the AC adapter (charger) from the laptop.
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge.
- Reconnect the AC adapter (but don’t press the power button yet).
- Now, press the Power button once and see if the laptop turns on.
Check for Power Indicators
- Look for any LED lights near the power button, charging port, or keyboard.
- If the charging light is off, try a different wall outlet or charger if available.
Try a BIOS Recovery (if screen remains black)
- With the laptop off, press and hold Windows + B keys, then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.
- Release the Power button but continue holding Windows + B for another 5 seconds.
- If successful, the BIOS recovery screen should appear.
External Monitor Test (if screen is black)
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV using HDMI.
- Power on the laptop and press F4 or Windows + P to toggle display modes.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
