HP 15 BS 658tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I shut down my laptop in night.

At next morning I just try to start it but it won't start.

I also connect the charger, just for 5 sec orange light is shown. And as I press the power button The orange light turns off. Now its not showing any White/orange light when I plug In. Also its not starting.

I also Remove the Cmos Batter and again plug it after 20 min. Then also it doesn't start.

What should I do? Please help me.

@MANISH777 Have you attempted to connect the device to an alternate power cord or adapter?

Or check with another wall outlet, excluding any surge protectors to check if it works?

While you respond to that, here's  the best way to resolve the issue, using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

CLICK HERE FOR STEP BY STEP GUIDE

(simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).

If the above doesn't help or the steps are insufficient, check the below steps:

Let's start with a hard reset of your notebook computer before you try any other troubleshooting steps.

Reasons for a hard reset

A hard reset has the following effects:

  • Clears the memory.

  • Reestablishes the connection between the BIOS and the hardware

The following conditions can be helped by the hard reset:

  • Windows stop responding.

  • The display suddenly goes blank.

  • The computer does not wake from sleep or hibernate modes.

  • Software applications freeze or fail to respond.

I have done with all these steps (change the laptop battery, adapter,& everything ).

The same problem occurred 1 month ago, but that time my notebook was showing orange light when I pluged in AC adapter, but this time it is not showing any light when I connect adapter. I also check if my adapter is damaged, but it is not ... My adaoter and battery is fine I checked that on another notebook. I perform every step like hard reset, removing static charges, etc. I don't understand what is happening with this notebook.

Note : Initially my laptop was showing orange light when I connect AC adapter, but as I press Power Button , the oranger light goes off and never turned on till now. Please help.

I visit hp service centre, they said there is motherboard problem and they won't repair if. They just replace the board which costs above 20K. So they said. Rather you go to local shop and ask them.

I come to know that the processor is short and it can't be repair. The only option is to replace motherboard.

Please help me. Will they replace motherboard with processor or they will just change the board and use with same older processor?  And  how can I find best board for my laptop ?

@MANISH777

Thank you for posting back.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I wont be able to check the service center details.

Hence, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
