Where are you located (country)?

Here is the Service manual:

Manual

There are two memory slots and the laptop can take up to 2 x 8 = 16 gigs of DDR3L-1600. Add a 4 gig module and you will have 8 total which is likely to be the most cost-effective memory upgrade. An SSD is a very noticeable upgrade and if you can only do one of the two upgrades, do the SSD.

Memory module (DDR3L-1600) 8-GB 693374-005 4 GB 691740-005

Yes you can replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. HP sells SSDs and also has replacement memory modules but you would pay a higher price than necessary to buy from HP. Better off to buy locally from amazon or similar online computer parts house.

If you live in USA you could buy these, for example:

https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-1600MHz-PC3-12800-KVR16LS11/dp/B00CQ35GYE/ref=sr_1_1?rps=...

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-250GB-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-76E250E/dp/B0793FNNP6/ref=sr_1_3?s=electro...

Pages 36-45 of the Service manual explain how to do this. Post back if you need to find this other than in the USA.

does this RAM modeul for this laptop are single channel or dual channels RAM?

lastly,

since my laptop warranty is over right now.do the RAM slots and HDD are easiliy reachable to replace or they are located  in sophisticated area inside laptop case?

Gute Fragen. Look at the Manual and you can see how easy reaching the memory and hard drive areas is. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult I would say its a 3 or 4. Its not the modules that are dual channel it is the motherboard and processor that allows the memory to run in dual channel mode. Not clear from the Manual but it says the higher end processors are dual channel so from that I surmise that your A6 will not run the memory in dual channel but I could be wrong. Upgrading the amount of memory makes sense regardless. Dual channel means memory read and write is about 8% faster which is barely noticeable. Memory read and write is only one component of how "fast" a computer performs.

sorry again for more questions.

It seems my latptop has two graphic display card or adapter( I dont know much) which is shown in device manager.

Radeon R4 and R7 M360.

Radeon R5 has 512 MB dedicated memory but Radeon R7 doesnot show any memory?!?

when I boutgh this laptop it was in spec 2 GB dedicated memory.

May I know how can I know about the dedicated memory of my device?I use win 10 updated 2018 april version.

is there any other properties that I have to look up to find the graphic memory size?

another question:

For migration from HDD to SSD does HP provide any supportive software ?

The Manual shows on p. 1 that one option is switchable discrete video and that is what you have. There is regular integrated APU video and then also a switchable module that has 2 gigs VRAM. You have to use the HP driver to make this whole dance work right. Dxdiag will not pick up the video memory in the switchable module so you will knock yourself out trying to find it with old school tools.

You enable the faster video on an app by app basis in the Catalyst Control app.
