I am having trouble with the LCD back plate and hinge area on my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-CX0058WM - I had purchased this laptop from Walmart Sept. 11 2019 and by Christmas of 2020 as I would close the lid you could hear little pieces of plastic snapping (I am 99% sure the noise is the threaded posts the screws to into), I have never dropped the laptop or forceful with it what-so-ever. As time goes by it is steadily getting worse and worse and more plastic is breaking and falling out of the screen, I am now afraid to even adjust the tilt of the screen.
EDIT: since it wont show my uploaded pics here is an imgur album;
I have never had this happen to any other laptop I have ever owned, and the fact that it started happening two months out of warranty is ridiculous. It seems to be a theme as well -

Is there a recall or anything we can do? Since this is out of warranty but seemingly a prevalent issue?

@PoorplasticQA, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Any update? I have no messages from any HP associate. How is this not a recall either?
Edit: Forget about it, I am going to just buy the part off Ebay, it is really sad that this vendor has the back cover and has 309 sold listings, I have never, ever, needed to replace a back screen cover on any computer I have ever owned/worked on.On the positive side HP is creating a job for this guy, he can make a living selling replacements for these garbage quality parts.
What a trash company.
