My  Computer has never been dropped and the left hinge caused the screen of by computer to crack.  The computer was working fine up until yesterday and this happens.  I had a feeling this type of computer would have this type of problem but had no idea the computer was poorly made even though I bought it brand new.  These people are selling these computers with a lifespan to break and tear up once the warranty is expired.  They will stop supporting any computer after 3 to 4 years of use and  it just falls apart.  They are built that way so these greedy people can make more money.  I have decided to never buy a computer manufactured from this company ever again and I will do my due diligence to find any brand that they build under any other name.  It is sad though.  I was a PC person but I think it is time to twitch over to APPLE.  There computers are made to last.  It might be a bit expensive but at least they are well build and will not fall apart and they continue to support their products for many years past what HP consider to be disposable and they stop supporting it.  It is sad that American Computers are just that, made to tear up and thrown to the dump after a 3 years of use.   I will never buy another HP and I am going on my Social Media Platform to tell all my 5000 people to share t photo of the damage on my computer due to a hinge breaking my screen.  Just think it could have came off and broken my foot or a little child handling this computer.  I also found out too that the batter is subject to explode when I did a google search.  I HP to see if there are any recalls and they said " No".  My google searches led to me finding that many people had made the same complaints about the hinge and the battery.  When I called they said there are no recalls on the computer.  I contacted consumer affairs and they said they are awaiting a response from HP.  I provided them the photos of the damage to my computer.  I will file complaint with the Federal Trade commission next and also as many government agencies as possible to let them know what happened.  Meanwhile, I am also getting ready to get my lawyer to contact them.
