Pavilion - 15-cx0009ne

Hello Experts, 

 

I have bought HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0009ne and had hardly used it for a year and the hinge is broken and the bezel is opening up. 

I used my office laptop and thus get to use my personal HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0009ne very less often and even with a very light use, it got broken in a year's time. 

When I checked my extended warranty, it shows it is still valid for about a month. 

Will I be charged for getting this hardware issue with this specific model from an authorized HP service center?

I have not got any adequate information through the HP support case. The queries are all unanswered. 

I need to know:

1. The hardware defect is covered as part of ongoing warranty?

2. Is Sharaf DG in Times Square, Dubai an authorized service center for my HP laptop?

Hi,


I bought an additional year warranty with the laptop. The warranty status was shown as active online even until few days ago. as warranty valid till September 21, 2020.  But today when it shows as warranty expired on September 21, 2019

This does not seems fair to me. Could you kindly clarify?

This sounds like warranty software glitch, not to worry HP can sort this out for you. 

As I mentioned earlier we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. Hi Imam, 

I had given for servicing about 5 days ago and may take a week more to receive it back from service center. 

The HP authorized service centers will be replacing with original parts and thus it is always recommended to get the laptop repaired through them. 
Regarding durability, it again all depends on the parts that are replaced and is a subjective matter.
