Envy X360

I purchased a three year care pack when I purchased my computer. I saw pop-ups at the end of one year stating my warranty was about to expire, but I knew I had the care pack, so I thought it was an error. A couple weeks after the warranty ended a power surge fried the battery. I would like to file a claim using the care pack, which is still good for year and a half, but I cannot find any way to do so.  The only thing I can find is to pay to talk to tech support online, but I don't think I should have to do that since I paid for the Care Pack. Please Help.

The computer is an HP Envy x360

Hi@kmorty, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

We understand not sure all the model's battery is covered under an extended warranty.

Your reply did not answer my question of how do I file a claim using the care pack?
