How do i know whether my laptop has an SSD slot? I am thinking of upgrading the disk to SSD, however not sure whether the laptop have additional SSD slot, instead SSD slot, instead of replacing current SATA drive, I check the product manual page from HP site, however the information is not clear. Please advise.
Thank you.

Support for M.2 SATA storage (Port 0) (models with i7 processors and 4 GB discrete graphics memory only)
Yours is i7 but has 2 gb discrete graphics not 4 gb so likely not. I would tell you to just visually instpect but it is a big job to remove and turn over the motherboard to look.

Yours does not have an M.2 slot. Only i7 processor models in your model series have it.
See bottom p. 1 to top p. 2. All you can do is replace the spinning mechanical hard drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD like Samsung 860 Evo. Still a major game changer type upgrade but not exactly the dual storage solution you were hoping for. Prices have come down a lot recently, however.
Post back if you need any more questions answered and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
