My colleague and friend @IT_WinSec has suggested the following.
"To activate special characters like \ (backslash) on an AZERTY keyboard in Belgium using Dutch language, you can use the following key combination:
Press Shift + Alt Gr + \ (usually located near the L key).
If this doesn't work, you might need to check your keyboard settings or install a Dutch keyboard layout. Here's how you can do that:
Open Settings: Go to your computer's settings.
Language & Input: Find the language and input settings.
Add Keyboard: Add the Dutch keyboard layout.
Switch Keyboard: Switch to the Dutch keyboard layout when typing."
Kindly let me know how that works out.

I have spent all day yesterday with the Dutch helpdesk. Conversation started at 10:00 and ended after 19:00 when they did not react anymore. In total I spent 3 days with them and each time had to re-enter the same information (which they could have checked themselves in the Whatsapp.
Today I decided to search in English - stupid I did not do that before.
I found the solution there.
The Combination is Fn+Alt gr+L
The guy that gave the solution was a programmer and found it absolutely insane that one needed 3 keys for the backslash.
He got is laptop replaced by another model.
This is my first HP - I always had Dell - and I must say that the Dutch HP helpdesk is totally worthless!
I have made a comment in Trustpilot and I see there are a lot of complaints about their helpdesk.
Thank god there are people like you to help.
