HP Laptop 17-by0062cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased this laptop on July 3rd, 2018 from Sam's Club to replace my wife's older 17 inch HP laptop. Starting from last week, I noticed the top panel was higher than the edge in the right hinge area where the screen is attached to the base. I pushed it back thinking the clip just popped, but came to find out that every time I opened and closed the screen, it will pop back up. After further investigation, I found out the right hinge in the base holding the screen was completely broken into pieces and the plastic chips were scattered everywhere under the hinge area inside the base.

I have bought three HP 17-inch laptops over the last 10 years, and this one is really short lived. I never had this type of problem from the other two HPs. Does anyone know how to fix this? I did a lot of search online, but couldn't find much information on how to fix the right hinge cracking on this exact model.
