Hi @Akshay02000,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Experiencing a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) on your HP All-In-One Desktop 24 can be frustrating, especially if Safe Mode is not working and the C drive is not accessible in the boot command prompt. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue.

Startup Repair:

  • Turn on your computer and repeatedly press the F11 key (or Esc key, and then F11) to open the Recovery Environment.
  • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the startup repair.

System Restore:

  • From the Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.
  • Choose a restore point before the issue started occurring and follow the prompts to restore your system.

Check Disk Utility:

  • From the Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.
  • In the Command Prompt, type chkdsk /r X: (replace X: with the drive letter assigned to your system drive, which may be C: or 😧 depending on your configuration).
  • Allow the utility to scan and fix any disk errors.

Rebuild Boot Configuration Data (BCD):

  • In the Command Prompt, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each:

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd

  • These commands will attempt to repair the Master Boot Record (MBR), the boot sector, and the Boot Configuration Data (BCD).

Accessing the C Drive:

  • If the C drive is not accessible, try using the DiskPart utility:

diskpart

list volume

  • Identify the volume corresponding to your C drive (it might have a different letter in the Recovery Environment) and assign a drive letter if necessary:

select volume X  (replace X with the volume number)

assign letter=C

exit

  • Then try accessing the C drive again.

Reinstall Windows:

  • If none of the above solutions work, you might need to consider reinstalling Windows. Make sure to back up your data if possible.
  • From the Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Remove everything.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Windows.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
