Hi:
The 15-ayXXX notebooks that come with 2.5" hard drives have no M.2 slot to support a SSD.
When a 15-ayXXX notebook came with a M.2 SSD slot, the slot only supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe.
You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD and that would perform just as well as if the notebook had a M.2 slot for a SATA SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual.
The supported drive types can be found in chapter 1. No NVMe SSD's are supported.

The SN570 is NOT an SATA-3 SSD
To put in an M.2 you will need an adapter #850946-001
that adapter takes the SATA-3 type of M.2 and it will not run at NVME speed.

There are none that I can find nor can I find that adapter anywhere.
Do you have an HDD like this?
You can get an adapter like this
BUT YOU NEED SATA-3 LIKE BELOW OR IT WONT WORK IN YOUR LAPTOP
as it is not compatible with M.2 NVMe or AHCI PCI-Express SSDs
Get this instead

Hi
Thanks for you response.
I know that I can replace DVDW and place SSD or replace HDD with SSD.
But I want to use HDD, DVDW and SSD on same laptop. Is there any way to add SSD without removing DVDW or HDD.
Thanks
