After closing the laptop lid for awhile, I tried to open it back again and it stuck at an angle that I cannot open or close it any longer. Seems like hinge problem. Any help how to tackle this problem?

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding Holidays & Weekends).

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (such as serial numbers and case details).

The hp support team are very helpful and I got directed to one of the team member thru chat. After asking all the details and providing pics to them. I was asked to wait for the quotation send to my email in a few days. I received an email 2 days later that there's no onsite technical support in my country but a few offsite reseller that I need to contact to get the quotation which I didn't do.

I decided to just bring my pc to the repair shop in my area. The guy got it fixed for about an hour without breaking the case or the hinge. He said the plastic inside that's holding the hinge have snapped and so, he replaced that and fixed both hinges and also applying some lubricant cos the hinges are too stiff. Now, I can open and close the lid smoothly like never before.
