I am facing the same problem at 15-ch032ng s/n [Personal Information Removed]

I cannot find a source for a genuine spare part. Please help!

My model is 15-ch008ca

 

The first battery I ordered from Amazon was from another vendor andit was defective as it wouldn't charge at all. I asked for a refund and they agreed to itless than 24 hrs later. Within a week I had my 85 $ back on my credit card. Then I took a chance with the second battery which has been as good as an original before I took it out.

Good luck with this issue... I spent a long time speaking with an HP agent who eventually concluded that HP doesn't sell replacement batteries, won't give them to us for this clearly defective product, and has no qualms about refusing to escalate this issue. They know and don't care. Last HP computer I buy, period.
