@9Guru9, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP 5258 Printer Skipping Lines After Windows 11 Upgrade!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP 5258 printer is skipping every 4th line after upgrading your laptop to Windows 11, here are some troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the issue:

Potential Causes:

  1. Printer Driver Issue: The current driver might not be fully compatible with Windows 11.
  2. Software Conflict: There could be a conflict between HP Smart and other software.
  3. Printer Settings: Settings or configurations might have changed during the upgrade.

Recommended Fixes:

Update Printer Driver:

  • Visit the HP Support website and search for the latest driver for the HP 5258 that is compatible with Windows 11.
  • Download and install the updated driver.

Reinstall HP Smart:

  • Uninstall HP Smart from your laptop.
  • Restart your laptop.
  • Download and install the latest version of HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Open HP Smart and select your printer.
  • Check for any settings related to print quality or paper type that might be causing issues.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
