[Could you give me guidelines from the start to the end.]

OK, so first off, I have no idea if the replacement SSD will work.  There is no reason it should NOT; but there is also no guarantee that it WILL.

Second, the best way to do this, which is what I have done numerous times is the following:

1) get and adapter that allows you to connect the new SSD to your laptop

2) Download and install Macrium Refledt FREE on your laptop:  https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree

3) Use the MR function to CLONE your current SSD to the new SSD

4) When done, shut down the PC and swap SSDs

To do the cloning, Follow the instructions in this link: http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Cloning+a+disk

Once the PC is up and working on the new SSD, you can go into Disk Management and change the partition size to fil the unused space on the SSD.

And no, this should not affect the HDD or any of the data on it.

More information

My laptop has ...

256 GB SSD (Manufacture) for C: drive only.

1 TB HDD (Manufacture) for 😧 and E: drive.

8+8 GB Ram DDR4 2666 MHz (1 Manufacturer and 1 Upgraded)

Not serious about data or MS office on C: drive

Another Question : Will my HDD works/data loss after the upgrade.

Thank you.
