Hello, help me to understand what SSD m.2 I correct to put the SATA 3 or PCI-E!? Just recently calling HP tech support I was told that originally it was tested SSD with Part number: 847109-020 showed description http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493193. Looking at his performance I do not know if the M. 2 SSD 500 GB Samsung EVO Plus 970 in PCI-E or M. 2 SSD 500 GB 860 Samsung EVO SATA-3, or better something else close to you HP!? Thank you!

Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, both SATA and NVMe M.2 drives are supported.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493193
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-power-15-cb007ur
Click on the View More link under the SSD section, and you will see the supported NVMe drives with their specifications.
Then you can see if a Samsung drive has better Read/Write specs and get one of your choosing.

As noted, the solid-state drive is indicated there https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-power-15-cb007ur/CT13074281, it has a higher speed. It turns out that purchasing it will be all right and there is no need to risk buying Samsung EVO!?

I wanted to ask ... based on the product number. Today I was asked in technical support the product number 1ZA81EA (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05566773/) and said that I need to test. As understand, now can not be afraid, just i buy and set!?
