Windows 10 and it's update files are a mystery for sure. Another in the Expert program and I have been discussing all of the space gobbled up in the Stream and other series with 32gb eMMC drive. I managed an Update but took a lot of deleting and still ended up with little space left. He did a clean install and ended up with more than double what I did with an update. We can't figure out where the heck all of the files from an Update are hidden.
I will come back and update once 1803 installs on my Spectre again. I suspect Microsoft may be trying to first get the updates pushed to laptops such as yours that ended up with a "stuck" update. I was fortunate I suppose that I installed it before they started trying to block it and it didn't hang-even though I ended up with crashes. Fortunately, I had the option to rollback to previous version.
Hope your laptop continues to run well!
