Product: HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j003cl Notebook PC

HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j003cl Notebook PC with Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 19045.4046 OS is not eligible for Windows 11 because the microprocessor does not accommodate it.  Is it possible to upgrade that hardware item so I can become eligible?

Unfortunately, that would be impossible.

 

Your PC's motherboard will not support the Intel 8th generation core processors and it also does not have a TPM 2.0 security device, which is another one of Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.

 

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3

 

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
