Hi, I want to buy 2 Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400-SODIMM RAM (Config ID: CT12634143)for my HP Envy 360X Convertible 15-bp1xx and I am trying to make sure this RAM will work with my laptop.
If there are suggestions for better RAM (16GB or 8(2)GB), please tell me!

Well, your machine actually is HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp143cl. Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05997523
Its manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05527167.pdf
which say: One SODIMM memory module slot, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable. But from its specs and manual, it does not make any sense. The only way to know is to open your machine to see its fixed (on board) RAM and may be another slot.
Regards.

Some 15-bp1xx machines ONLY has one slot of RAM. Before we can help, we need to know what EXACTLY is your HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-bp1xx ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

or

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
