I have an HP Notebook 15s du0013tx, and its motherboard has a slot labelled JSSD which I hope is good for SSD upgrade. A quick search on Crucial website shows that my laptop is compatible with P5, P2, and P1 which are all M.2, but I don't know if it should go in the slot with the JSSD label.

 

Also, what's the maximum RAM frequency compatible for my laptop?

Hi:

 

According to the service manual that is linked to your notebook's support page, the M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe M.2 SSD's.  See chapter 1.

I have no idea what the 'J' stands for by the M.2 SSD slot, but that is a standard M.2 slot that supports M.2 2280 size SATA or NVMe SSD's.

 

Your notebook's processor can only run the memory at a max speed of 2400 MHz, so any memory you install that is faster, such as DDR4-2666 MHz is going to run at 2400 MHz.
