Hello team, I have a HP Pavilion ×360 Convertible 14m-cd0xxx and some of the alphabet keys alongside a few numerical keys, direction keys are not working. The keyboard has partially become a dead rubber.

 

It's a request to let me know if I should get the keyboard replaced from authorised hp service centre, if yes, then how much would it cost?  Or should I use an external keyboard for the same?

I understand you are facing a keyboard issue with your HP Pavilion X360 - 14m-Cd0001dx Notebook PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist better:

While you respond to that please try the below steps:

 

Update the BIOS & Keyboard drivers to resolve this issue

  • Here's the link to download and install the above updates: Click here

If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures in Windows 10

 

If the issue still persists, then it would possibly be a hardware issue, I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action. 

 

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.
