Product: HP ENVY m6-n012dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this HP Envy m6-n012dx for several years and it remains on my kitchen counter 98% of the time. I also rarely close the screen. Today I noticed that the left hinge is all messed up and the bottom of the laptop is separating where the color changes from black to silver. I seriously can't believe this is happening. It appears that there is a missing screw in that general area which doesn't make sense because the laptop never moves from the counter. Has this happened to anyone else? Is HP standing by their product?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information such as serial numbers and case details.
