I have an
HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-ba1xx. I want to upgrade the RAM and Storage. I need to know what parts are compatible. Any guidance on the applicable upgrades I can get access to?
Here are the product specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)
Storage 119 GB SSD SanDisk SD9SN8W-128G-1006
Graphics Card Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 (128 MB)
System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2400 CL17 memory and you can replace the 128 GB SATA SSD with a better performing M.2 2280 NVMe SSD having a greater storage capacity such as 1 TB.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory and SSD removal and replacement procedures.
The 12 GB max memory is incorrect as is the info that only the computer models with model numbers 14-cc0xx and 14t-cc000 support NVMe SSDs.
You can probably even install 2 x 16 GB of memory in your notebook if you wanted to.
Run this command in Windows Powershell as administrator and it will report the amount of memory your notebook can support.
