HP Pavilion x360 14 cd0087TU Laptop

laptop.jpeg

My laptop is just 1.5 years old, and the screen started popping out. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty and uses the laptop very carefully. So I am sure it is not something I have done, but a manufacturing defect. I see that a lot of people have faced the similar issue, from forum posts.

I took the laptop to an HP service centre at India, but they told that they have to replace the whole top portion, which makes it a pretty costly deal. It is just as much as getting another laptop. The laptop is still fully functional except it is popping out, and touch and all other functions work perfectly.

As it is COVID-19 related lock-down here in my region, I have to attend all my classes using laptop and I fear it will break soon.

What are my options and what can I do about this? Please help.
