Hello!
I need help! Please!
When I try to turn on my laptop, the power button turns on and off, then on and off, and continues doing the same. The screen does not light up. No even connecting the laptop to a monitor. It just stays like that. What I've heard is that I should retrieve the battery but the battery is internal, and I fear that if I open the laptop I would lose the warranty that it has. If I turn it in for repair it might lose all the data, and I got important documents in it. Somebody please help.

Hi Rickiller07,
Try performing a hard reset on your PC and check if it helps.
To perform a power reset on a laptop with a sealed or non-removable battery, use the following steps:
>Turn off the computer.
>Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
>Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
>Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
> Press power button for 15 sec.
> Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop computer, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
> Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
Thanks,

You have to check adapter when you plug your adapter to your unit from a led which located near of power jack. If your adapter works, please contact with HP support. It may be power board or motherboard issue. I can not suggest further steps because you told that you have a important documents in it. I hope you can solve your issue buddy.
