which has device-drivers for Windows 7 -- not the Windows 10 that you are using ...

This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver and Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under battery power) and a high-performance graphics mode. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

_____________

I wonder if your Windows 10 device-driver has a similar "switchable graphics" mode, that you are currently NOT using ???

The above is for an 'AMD' graphics adapter.

For the 'Intel' graphics adapter, using Windows 7 or Windows 8, see:

OK?

Hmm.  From where did you get that file?

Which is in the hp site

What is the URL of the web-page that has the hyperlink to download that file?

> I  get this error while trying to update the driver...
> From the device manager
> Display adapters
> Update driver software
> Browse my computer for driver software
> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer
> Have disk
> Kit40897

That web-page contains the text:

Type: Driver
Version: 8.15.10.2559

Operating Systems:
Windows 8 (32-bit)
Windows 7 (64-bit)

Release date: Mar 18, 2013
File name:  sp61152.exe (86.2 MB)

Because it is an '.EXE' file, you must:

* download the file,

* open the folder that now contains the file,

* double-click on the file to run the '.exe' file,

* choose a folder-name into which the necessary files will be extracted,

* start the extraction,

* after the extraction, click CANCEL (because your computer is Windows 10, not Windows 7 nor Windows 8),

* return to Device Manager,

> Display adapters
> Update driver software
> Browse my computer for driver software
> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer
> Have disk

* select the folder-name that you chose, above,

to see if Windows 10 will allow you to use the files inside that folder to use the Windows 8 device-driver under Windows 10.

I downloaded 2 Intel graphics driver update
One for Windows 7 64bit
The other one for Windows 8 64bit

When I installed the exe of the windows 7 64bit it only installed turbo boost..
While the windows 8 64bit said (This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software)

I downloaded the zip file for both of them and tried installing it from device manager
Update driver software
>let me pick from a list of device on my computer
>have disk
Browsed to the folder of the windows 7 64bit
>clicked the kit51428.inf file
And got this error
>The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems.

While when I followed the same process to install the windows 8 64bit
And clicked on the igdlh64.inf file
I got this error
>the driver selected for this device does not support this version of Windows

This is a "milestone" -- the SIXTIETH update to this thread.  :Surprise:

> One for Windows 7 64bit

> The other one for Windows 8 64bit

Is your computer still running Windows 10?   If so, then your computer already has the correct device-driver.

P.S. Did pressing that 'F2' key at "start-up" time ever proceed properly?
