HP ZBook 15 G3 Base Model Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer: hp zbook 15 g3 base edition.

- Need to replace screen LP156WF6(SP)(B1) SPB1 LCD 15.6"

- Bought MB156CS01-8 (should be compatible according to vendor)

Problems:

1) screen working in general but no backlight (checked with flashlight)

2) HDMI output not working when screen is connected to computer

-Tried updating drivers + bios,to no avail

Is this MB156CS01-8 compatible with computer? If not, how can I find out which model to buy? If it is compatible, what would be the next step?

Thanks in advance, FoxtrottUnicorn

Go to the below site and enter your serial number and look for the display

https://partsurfer.hp.com/

Possibly it might be (I am guessing)

848255-001
15.6-inch FHD LED SVA AntiGlare display panel (raw panel only)

then look up that HP part number for example

https://www.google.com/search?q=hp+display+848255-001

Best is to remove the old part to verify the part number is correct
