OMEN by HP - 17-w102nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My OMEN by HP - 17-w102nl Battery is getting really big, bending the case and even the keyboard.

I've seen this is not the first time hp notebooks have swollen batteries.

How dangerous it is?  What should I do? Buy another Battery and replace it by myself?

Hp support assistant tells me everything's ok. I really doubt it.

Hi,

First, you should stop using it and remove the ac adapter from the notebook. You could replace yourself and I will provide a guide. First, let me flag the post and see if someone from the HP support team will step in and help.

David

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
