HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab157nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently, my Pavilion laptop that I have owned for a few years has been getting noisy. The fan gets loud, and the entire laptop vibrates very softly. The odd part is that I have already cleaned the vents and my fan after taking it apart, and I am not running any sort of intensive software, proven by checking task manager. The fan only seems to begin making noise when the laptop is moved or shaken. I can only get the fan to stop by shaking the laptop, or by closing the lid, waiting for the fan to stop, and then reopening my laptop. If my laptop is on a desk, it won't even begin to get this noisy, even if I run intensive software. Regardless of whether or not my fan is being noisy or not, it is still audibly working, and my laptop is not necessarily hot when the fan gets noisy. I have already removed my fan from the motherboard and inspected it to make sure there was nothing stuck inside, and I made sure it was secured before closing my laptop back up. Any help would be appreciated.

@FawazzleEX I'm afraid that's a hardware malfunction, considering the issue occurs while moving the laptop, I'm sure you agree the device is built for portability and if its not doing that the way it should, that's not normal, the only thing you can attempt is a BIOS update: click here for steps,

Also, try these steps to clean the vents among others: click here, and if the issue persists, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from, here's how private messages work: Click here for details
