Optical drive size for my laptop

I tried seraching for size in mm for my optical drive but not successfull . Is anybody aware of spec and size for Optical drive used in my model : Hp-15-be001tx.

I intend to remove my optical drive and instead install Harddisk on that space so i have to order a case for this , which i can see in 2 sizes: 9.5mm and 12.7 mm.

Obviously connector type also different PCI and SATA.

Hi:

The service manual for your notebook, chapter 3, page 40 indicates the optical drive for all models is part # 858505-001.

When you enter the part # in the box at the link below, it will give the size in mm of the drive.
