Hi folks,
After updating the OS from Win7 x64 to Win10 x64 on a HP Pavilion G6-1245CE I have some difficulties with some hardware drivers. Most issues I could solve myself, but there are four hardware items that keep giving errors, which I did not succeed to solve by myself. These hardware issues affect also the possibility to use internet (at least over WiFi) ont that laptop, so it is quite a big deal. Hopefully you can help me out. I probably provide too much information below, but I think at least the necessary information you need is there. I hope at least 🙂
So can you help me out to solve the hardware errors stated below, so that I can at least use internet over WiFi again on that laptop?
From the Device Manager I get the following errors and info which I think is useful to share:

Hi:
Unfortunately, you won't get the Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter to work on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, so I can't help you with that.
You can try the W10 drivers directly from the Realtek site for the ethernet controller and card reader.
Ethernet controller....Download unzip and run the setup.exe file from the first driver listed on the webpage.
Card reader (PCI device)...Download unzip and run the setup.exe file from the first driver listed on the webpage.
Since the wireless can't work on W10, you may want to consider rolling back to W7 within the 30 day period.

Thanks, that driver seems to work.
After I installed the driver nothing really changed.
Then I went to the Device Manager and uninstalled the Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter.
Then I retried installing the driver you mentioned, and now that device works properly. Internet works on that system now.
Now I am going to see if I can tackle the other devices with errors, but at least the bacics are in place now.
Thanks a lot!
