Hi guys!
Is there anyone of you who has succeded in attaching either SATA or NVME type m.2 SSD as boot drive to a power pavilion 15?

Hey! I did manage to do it. I bought a WD black 256 GB NVme SSD and it was just as easy as plug in and install OS in the bios as normal. Boot time reduced from 45 seconds to 6 seconds!

How did you make the WD ssd work? I have one and is not detected by the Bios...

All I did was disable the original HDD first, then put in the WD SSD and boot up.  I had windows installation tool on a USB drive, I forced it to boot from it and it started installing. By the time I was at the point I had to choose the installation destinaition I saw the ssd on the list with allocations etc. Didn't have to change any settings. Make sure the SSD is properly installed in the laptop!

I don't think there will be any problems by the size
