Sorry for not getting back sooner. "Sometimes you have to give me a little nudge.":smileywink:
Look under the battery to see if you can find the serial number and product number.
If you can find them I can help you to program them into the BIOS.

I have an Elitebook 8460p I ma having issues resetting the BIOS password with also.
I run HPBR, option 3, save info
Run again, option 1, first run
It then displays=
ALL CLEAR...
Failed to load defaults, error code: 89
What am I missing?
