I have a brand new hp probook 450 g7 with i5-10210u and mx130
laptop overheats and shut down when playing old and new games , tried everything. Just everything. I just want to know if the problem happens only with me ! Or its a model problem .
i applied brand new thermal paste , clean windows 10 install , tried old /new drivers , installed an ssd , i made the max process state 60% and made the Nvidia power as low as possible, i bought a cooling pad , i even removed the mesh in the air venting.
the problem happens sometimes a-lot when i plug the charger, it wont happen at all if am plying on battery . I just need help cause the warranty will end in may . Please assist me .

Only happens on battery would seem to indicate that the power adapter isn't not capable of supplying enough wattage.
Is the power adapter not the originally supplied unit?
The OEM power adapter is a 65 Watt unit and that should be enough power.
