Envy x360 15m-bp111dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Although I've generally been happy with the performance of my Envy x360, I've been extremely disappointed in the quality of some of the materials.  Within a few months of buying it, one of the rubber strips on the bottom of the notebook began coming off.  The adhesive that was supposed to hold it in place has smeared across the bottom of the notebook and has transferred to surfaces on which the computer has been placed.  Much worse, after 18 months of light-to-average use, the left hinge broke, causing the casing around the monitor separate, scratching the casing, interfering with the monitor itself, and preventing it from opening and closing properly (and probably placing additional stress on the still-functioning right hinge).  I've never taken the notebook with me when I travel; it's been handled gently and I'm its sole user.  Although it's designed so it can also be used as a tablet, I've only used it in tablet mode three or four times.  Something designed as a "convertible" notebook should have much more durable and reliable hinges.  If this was a five-year old, $250 notebook that had been used heavily, these issues could possibly be expected but, for the price paid and age of the computer, these issues are completely unacceptable.  I would greatly appreciate HP fully addressing all of these issues.
