Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I ordered a memory upgrade for the above model laptop. It originally had 4gb installed and I ordered a 16gb upgrade, which my research showed was the max. allowable. After removing the original memory and replacing it with the upgarde, the laptop won't boot. When I turn it on, I hear it going, but nothing happens. The only thing I see is the CAPS lock light flashing on and off slowly. I tried booting with only one module at a time in each slot, but no difference.

I'm pretty sure I ordered the right type of memory. Does this mean the ram I received is faulty? Or incompatible?

The vendor actually sent me the wrong memory. The problem has been resolved. Thank you so much for your assistance.
