Hi:

What is the product number of your notebook?

Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook's product number.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05567141

Below is the link to the crucial memory report for your notebook.

Accroding to the report you can add another 8 GB of memory to the existing one to max it out to 16 GB.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/envy-x360-15m-bq021dx

I would recommend the 8 GB DDR4-2400 memory module on the report if your notebook has two memory slots.

Below is the link to the service manual...there is conflicting information in the manual...

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06172053

If you look at the memory info in chapter 1, it indicates the 15m-bq000 models have one memory slot.

But it also indicates a different model processor.

Your model's processor is listed under the first column and in that column it states there are two memory slots.

So, I recommend you open up the notebook first and confirm how many memory slots there are before buying the 8 GB memory module.

If there is only one slot, then you are at the max.
